Prototipe Sistem Pencacah Botol Plastik Menggunakan RFID Berbasis Internet of Things

The increasing use of bottled drinking water contributes significantly to rising plastic waste generation. This study developed an IoT-based plastic bottle shredding system integrated with RFID, a load cell sensor, a DC motor, and an ESP32 microc ontroller. The system can identify users, automatically shred bottles, weigh shredded output, and store transaction data in Firebase. Users can view their digital balance through Telegram. Testing results show 100% RFID reading success, 12–17 seconds shredding time, 96–98% load cell accuracy, and 1–3 seconds IoT latency. This system demonstrates strong potential for digital waste-bank implementation.
